Hendrick Health is honored to have the history of Hendrick on display at the Abilene Airport.

Abilene historian Jay Moore and author of "Hendrick Health: A Century of Healing Ministry," highlighted milestones found throughout the book to more than 275 people, many of whom are featured in its pages.

At the convocation through scripture, song and prayer, we remembered our past, celebrated our present and expressed hope for our future.

Hendrick Health is celebrating a century of caring for our communities, which began when West Texas Baptist Sanitarium opened Sept. 15, 1924.
